Although we'd prefer the option to fine-tune brake regeneration levels, the one-pedal driving mode (accessible via the menu in the touchscreen) offers strong enough off-throttle deceleration to make it addictively simple to maneuver through traffic without having to bother much with the actual brake pedal. Smooth, easily accessible power is the name of the game, enabling the big-bodied Lightning to boogie forward with an ease that defies its plus-sized dimensions.
